Get Reel WKND (Get Reel Weekend) is a filmmaking collective in Charlotte, North Carolina. This page explains what we collect on getreel.us, why, and the choices you have. Questions: info@getreel.us or (980) 470-0291.
What you send us
When you fill out the inquiry form we receive what you type: your name, email, phone number, genre, budget range, reel link, what you want to showcase, character types and any food allergies or preferences. The waitlist form collects your email and city. Forms are delivered by Basin (usebasin.com) and copied into a Google Sheet that only our team can open. We use this to reply to you and to plan productions, and we do not sell it.
Advertising and the Meta pixel
Our public pages use the Meta pixel. It tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) which pages were visited, when an inquiry or waitlist sign-up is completed, and when a film is opened, along with technical details such as your browser and IP address, and it may set cookies. We use this to measure our ads and to show them to people who visited this site or who are similar to our visitors. We do not send the answers you type into our forms to Meta. The pixel is not used on private pages such as the actor gallery.
Your choices
You can switch off ad tracking on this site for this browser with one click. The Meta pixel then never loads here, and the setting stays until you clear your browser data.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the pixel does not load at all. You can also block cookies in your browser, and manage how Meta uses activity from other sites in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. California residents may opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and may ask to know or delete what we hold: email info@getreel.us with “Privacy request” in the subject and we will respond within 45 days.
Hosting and video
The site and its video files are served by Cloudflare. Film links may open on Vimeo, which has its own privacy policy. Actor gallery downloads are served only to people with that film’s access code.
Keeping and deleting
We keep inquiries for as long as they are useful for planning and staying in touch about productions. Ask us any time and we will delete your information. This site is not directed to children under 13.
